So how are alumina inert ceramic balls processed?

Alumina inert ceramic balls are made of ultra-fiber fine-crystal calcined alumina powder as the raw material, uniformly mixed and mixed by automatic mixing equipment, formed by a ball forming machine, and calcined at 1600°C in a high-temperature tunnel kiln. The alumina inert ceramic ball has the characteristics of high temperature and pressure resistance, low water absorption, stable chemical function, corrosion resistance of acids, alkalis and other solvents, and can tolerate temperature changes during the production process, and has good thermal stability. Its important role is to add gas or liquid distribution points to support and protect active catalysts with low strength.

The main purpose of the alumina inert ceramic ball is to be a proppant, so it will favor the compressive strength, water absorption, service size, and resistance to rapid changes in temperature.

Take 99%φ20mm alumina inert ceramic ball as an example. Its compressive strength is about 13KN/particle, water absorption is less than 5%, bulk density is ≥1900kg/m³, and temperature resistance is more than 850℃. It has the advantages of acid and alkali corrosion resistance, so it is deeply loved by users.
