Ceramic ball production process introduction

Alumina ceramic ball production process

1. Preparation of blanks The main components of Dehua’s ceramic blanks are quartz, feldspar and kaolin. According to the molding method of its products, it can be divided into moldable blanks and grouting blanks.

2. Moulding,

3. Forming. Forming is to use a dry plaster mold to make the prepared blanks into the required blanks by various methods. At present, the commonly used forming methods in Dehua production areas include plastic forming and injection molding. There are four methods of slurry forming, dry pressing forming and isostatic pressing forming.

Uses of alumina ceramic balls

Porcelain balls are divided into two types: inert alumina ceramic balls and alumina grinding balls. inert ceramic balls are widely used in petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, natural gas and environmental protection industries as the covering support material for the catalyst in the reactor and tower packing. It has the characteristics of high temperature and pressure resistance, low water absorption, and stable chemical properties. It can withstand the corrosion of acids, alkalis and other organic solvents, and can withstand temperature changes during the production process. There are many kinds of porcelain balls, and they have different functions.

What are the functions of ceramic balls

As a support and covering material for the catalyst in the reactor, it can buffer the impact of the liquid and gas entering the reactor on the catalyst, protect the catalyst, and improve the distribution of liquid and gas in the reactor
